Hey Y’all.. I’m sharing a quick makeover project from a recent curbside find. It always amazes me what people will just put to the curb. I guess that’s good for us though to create easy and mostly free makeovers.
This is the cutest mid-century designed desk made by Sears. It was in great shape with sturdy legs and clean drawers. The label was still on the back ( no photo).
Here is the new and improved version.
It just got a good cleaning and then I primed all the surfaces that were going to be painted. I chose to make the color bright and fun. This is Ocean Mist in gloss by Rust-Oleum.
I did leave the top original just to give the desk a protected surface that was original.
The legs were just cleaned along with the hardware and put back on.
This was an easy, quick, and almost free project. With just a can of spray paint and a little time, you can give a throw-away piece of furniture a second life.
What have you made over from the curb lately?
Thanks for stopping by.
