I was asked if I could bring new life to end tables. They were in pretty bad shape; one had a crack that needed repairing, they both had marks and stains…and some weird white stuff from sitting in a junk pile for a while.
End tables before and after
The customer wanted them to be black and modernish. We glued the crack, left the clamp on overnight and then I sanded the tops of both of the end tables.
End tables before
I used Annie Sloan ? chalk paint in Graphite and the dark wax to bring more black to the tables. As usual, I forgot to take pictures of the process, but I did remember to get before & afters.
Custom end tables after
Nothing fancy, but they love them and that’s all that counts. They sure look a lot better! I’d love to see them in their new home…I’ll have to ask for a picture.
